Except for standard CCT, it is also offered in dim-to-warm for more atmospheric applications. Select the version that best suits your project and enjoy functional yet beautiful lighting.

How to light large rooms with adjustable luminaires

Lighting large rooms needs a careful balance between function and visual comfort. High ceilings, wide floorplans, or open layouts often need more than general downlighting. Adjustable surface-mounted luminaires like Dea Flora M provide a flexible and efficient solution for placing light in these spaces.

Dea Flora M comes with an adjustable head. This allows the beam to focus exactly where needed. It works especially well in large residential rooms, hotel lobbies, restaurants, or retail spaces. These interiors often change, and light zones need clear definition.

The recommended installation height for Dea Flora M is between 3m and 4m. For accent lighting or grazing effects, place the luminaire 50–100cm from the wall. For general lighting in open areas, place luminaires 2m to 2.5m apart. This setup ensures even illumination with overlapping beams. It also avoids dark zones or uneven light.

Adjustable luminaires give designers more freedom to highlight features, artwork, or furniture. In large rooms, this avoids the common mistake of lighting only the centre while leaving the edges dark. Using several small or medium luminaires like Dea Flora M creates a layered and balanced lighting effect.

Surface-mounted luminaires also provide practical benefits. They work well in rooms with concrete ceilings, technical installations, or limited recess depth. Moreover, they support the ceiling design with rhythm and structure, while staying flexible for future changes.

Looking for a square-shaped alternative with the same flexibility? Dea Fauna M offers the same technical advantages as Dea Flora M, but with a clean, square profile.

Choosing adjustable luminaires for large rooms helps to place light with precision. It improves visual comfort and makes the interior more dynamic. This solution also provides design freedom while keeping the ceiling clean and architectural.
