Fontana S

Fluid grace.

Karizma Luce Fontana S is a recessed spotlight with a sculptural cylindrical form and clean visual rhythm. With an 85mm cut-out and 30° tilt, it brings flexible focus to galleries, boutique interiors, residential spaces, and areas where objects, artwork, or features deserve attention. The 350° rotation and lens optics ensure precision in any angle.

The luminaire is available in black or white and offers a 36° beam angle. It delivers up to 800Lm and is offered in single CCT or dim-to-warm. The integrated lens ensures crisp, controlled output. Fontana S supports on/off, phase-cut, DALI, or Casambi drivers. A fluid spotlight that gives light direction a graceful architectural presence.

How far should you position an adjustable spotlight from the wall to illuminate artwork?

Correct positioning of a spotlight is essential when you want to highlight artwork or decorative objects on a wall. The distance from the wall defines not only the shape of the light beam but also the viewing comfort and overall effect.

The Fontana S adjustable spotlight from Karizma Luce — with a 36° beam angle and 800Lm output — allows precise direction of light. However, with a maximum tilting angle of 30°, it is important to plan its position carefully. As a guideline, you should install the spotlight between 90 and 110 cm from the wall, depending on ceiling height. This ensures the beam reaches the object at a comfortable 30–35° angle and creates a well-defined light circle on the wall.

Recommended distances for Fontana S (36° beam angle, 800Lm)

2.7 m90 – 100 cmApprox. 60 cm diameter
3.0 m100 – 110 cmApprox. 65 cm diameter

For smaller objects or focused accent lighting, you can install the luminaire closer to the wall. For larger pieces or a softer ambient effect, you should place it further away — but always within the limits of the tilting angle.
