In the opening scene of our home lighting story, layered lighting plays a crucial role. Ambient lighting gently sets the stage, creating an overall tone that envelops the room in a comforting ambience. Next, task lighting steps into the spotlight, focusing on areas where life’s daily tasks take place. Then accent lighting comes in for the plot twist: revealing hidden architectural details and turning art pieces into true eyecatchers. Each lighting layer contributes to the overall mood and functionality of the room.

Chapter 02: Where sunlight shapes living spaces.
Next, we see how the interplay of natural light and architectural design creates a dialogue between the indoors and outdoors. Modern villas often feature large windows and open spaces which are key to harmonizing artificial lighting with natural light. The pictured project is the luxurious bungalow in Boxtel (NL), inviting the outside in and integrating natural materials in the interior.
