For Sandmann, a premium optical store, lighting defines the experience. The interior combines warm wood textures, bold colour accents, and clean architectural lines. The lighting concept enhances this balance by creating focus, depth, and visual comfort throughout the space.

From the façade to the consultation areas, every luminaire contributes to a layered and refined lighting strategy.

Layered lighting for retail precision

Inside the optical store, general lighting ensures clarity and orientation, while accent lighting highlights eyewear displays and architectural features.

Profondo delivers powerful, controlled light that enhances product presentation without glare. Its deep-set light source ensures visual comfort, which is essential in an environment where customers carefully evaluate details.

Profondo Basso and Profondo Basso Swing add flexibility. Their compact form integrates seamlessly into the ceiling, while the adjustable Swing version allows precise aiming toward feature walls and display niches. As collections evolve, the lighting adapts effortlessly.

For subtle, refined ambient lighting, Caro Recessed provides soft and balanced illumination in circulation areas and consultation zones. This maintains visual calm and prevents harsh contrasts.

In more discreet applications, Bebe Lente adds a nearly invisible lighting layer. With its minimal trim and compact cut-out, it blends into the ceiling while delivering focused accents. Ideal for shelving and smaller presentation areas, it enhances detail without disturbing the architectural rhythm.

Comfort meets contrast

The warm wooden cabinetry is softly illuminated to emphasise material depth. At the same time, focused beams highlight frames and central presentation tables. The result is a controlled interplay between softness and contrast.

Even expressive elements, such as the vibrant tiled space, benefit from carefully positioned light that strengthens colour intensity while maintaining comfort.

Lighting that supports experience

The combination of Profondo, Profondo Basso, Profondo Basso Swing, Caro Recessed, and Bebe Lente ensures:

  • High visual comfort

  • Precise accentuation

  • Subtle architectural integration

  • Balanced ambient illumination

The result is a refined retail environment where products stand out, materials feel rich, and visitors experience clarity without distraction.

Lighting here does not dominate the design. It completes it.
