Karizma Luce Piccolo is a fixed recessed downlight designed for compact elegance and soft architectural presence. With a 75mm cut-out and deep-set reflector, it brings visual calm and ambient character to refined spaces. Ideal for residential interiors, hotel rooms, boutiques, shops, and restaurants, Piccolo is made for accent lighting that blends seamlessly into the design.

The luminaire is available in black or white and offers beam angles of 24° and 40°. It delivers up to 850Lm and you can choose from single CCT or dim-to-warm. Its reflector ensures balanced, comfortable light distribution. Piccolo is compatible with on/off, phase-cut, DALI, or Casambi drivers. It is a clean, compact solution where soft lighting and architectural clarity go hand in hand.

How EPREL applies to luminaires with replaceable light sources

EPREL, the European Product Registry for Energy Labelling, is a mandatory EU database for light sources placed on the market. It enhances transparency in energy performance and provides lighting professionals with direct access to verified technical data. You can explore the listings via the public EPREL database for light sources. The regulation focuses on light sources rather than entire luminaires—unless the source is sealed and cannot be replaced. This distinction is essential for products like Piccolo.

Piccolo includes a replaceable LED module that a qualified technician can service. Because of this, Karizma Luce does not register the complete luminaire in EPREL. Instead, we indicate the correct EPREL identifier for the light source directly in the product datasheet, for example, BXRE-27G0800-D-73. This approach supports modularity while fulfilling EU requirements for energy labelling.

EPREL records key data for each registered light source, including efficiency class, luminous flux, power consumption, colour temperature, CRI, and lifetime. These values apply to the LED source itself, regardless of the luminaire’s housing or optical setup. This allows designers and specifiers to use consistent technical values in project documents or regulatory submissions.

For Piccolo and all other Karizma Luce luminaires with replaceable LED sources, each technical datasheet includes the correct EPREL identifier. This ensures that replacements meet the original performance and efficiency. To determine which light source a product uses, visit the product overview, select the exact version of the item, and download the datasheet for the matching code. You can check the light source information identifier in every file.
