Dea Amata M AS

Wallwashing effect.

Karizma Luce Dea Amata M AS is a recessed downlight with a 78mm cut-out designed to illuminate vertical surfaces with precision and elegance softly. It brings depth and warmth to restaurant walls, gallery displays, retail interiors, museum pieces, wine collections, residential bookshelves, libraries, and artwork in any setting. Its asymmetrical light distribution delivers a smooth, glare-free wash of light across large surfaces.

The luminaire features a silver reflector and black or white trim. The reflector’s design ensures the light is evenly directed, free from glare or shadow. With a luminous flux of up to 810lm, it provides efficient and atmospheric lighting. It is available in single CCT or dim-to-warm. Choose a suitable driver to match your preferred control solution.

Asymmetric light brings walls to life.

Wallwashing is more than lighting a wall. It brings depth, balance, and texture into a space. To achieve this, the Dea Amata M AS uses a carefully shaped asymmetric beam. The light falls evenly across the surface, from ceiling to floor, with no harsh lines or glare.

Unlike symmetric luminaires, which spread light in all directions, this wall washer directs light to one side. The beam is angled to gently wash vertical surfaces with a smooth, natural effect. It creates a soft gradient, free from hotspots or scalloping, and brings out the materials of the wall—whether stone, plaster, wood, or artwork.

This makes the Dea Amata M AS ideal for galleries, hotels, restaurants, and refined commercial interiors. Anywhere a vertical surface becomes part of the design, this luminaire brings it forward. It doesn’t add visual weight, but it defines the space subtly and intentionally.

With a luminous flux of up to 850lm, it delivers generous yet glare-free light. Its design matches the standard Dea Amata M downlight, so you can combine them in one ceiling layout — keeping the look consistent, even with different lighting functions.

In conclusion, the Dea Amata M AS  or wallwasher lights more than a wall. It reveals texture, shapes architecture, and adds quiet drama through thoughtful, asymmetric light.
