R&D is the place where everything comes together: development, testing, process and improvement. Our R&D colleagues are always on the look for refinements: “We compare technical parameters and work on meeting all requirements per industry, like hospitality and retail. But it is not only aiming for the best lighting quality and design: every day, we work on a smooth process that is fast, well-planned and with attention to details.”
The secret: devotion.
Our technical director, Tarek, is one of our many devoted professionals that love their job. “Since my responsibility covers development, assembly, purchase and the supply chain, I aim to achieve smooth and well-planned collaboration between all these and all other departments. I dream of seeing Karizma Luce shine at the top of the European lighting industry. We have what it takes: our outstanding design, high-quality luminaires and, of course, our well-organized process from the implementation of a new product to the delivery to delight our customers. There are always ways to improve, and I’m working every day on finding them.”

What could be the favourite luminaire of someone who knows all of them through and through? The answer of Tarek remains a mystery: “My favourite is not launched yet and will become a very valuable part of the Dea Della Luce collection. So be prepared for a surprise!”
