Arte

Shaped precision.

Karizma Luce Arte is a projection spotlight designed for 3-phase and 1-phase track systems. With built-in framing blades and optional gobo inserts, it shapes the light beam into circles, squares, logos, or even text—ideal for galleries, boutique displays, shopfronts, and commercial interiors where light communicates a message clearly.

The luminaire delivers up to 420Lm and is available in black or white, in single CCT. The beam angle is adjustable from 20° to 30°. You can choose from on/off and phase-cut control for simple installations or DALI for refined control in professional projects. Arte is more than a spotlight—it’s a lighting instrument with purpose and precision.

What is a gobo — and how can you use it in your lighting design?

A gobo is a small optical insert used in professional lighting to shape or project light. The term comes from “GOes Before Optics” — because the gobo is placed between the light source and the lens system. It allows lighting designers to control the light beam with high precision — not only in terms of direction but also in shape.

The gobo can be made of metal or glass and contains a cut-out or printed pattern. When the light passes through it, the pattern appears on the wall, floor, or any surface within the beam path.

This technology is widely used in theatres, galleries, retail environments, hospitality, and premium interiors — wherever light is expected to do more than just illuminate. Gobos turn light into a communication tool, adding function, atmosphere, or brand identity.

The Arte spotlight from Karizma Luce integrates a refined gobo projection system. The gobo holder is interchangeable, which means the insert can be removed and replaced at any time. This makes Arte ideal for flexible spaces or projects that require changing content — such as product launches, seasonal decorations, or temporary exhibitions.

Karizma Luce offers a selection of standard gobos — including linear patterns, textures, grids, and graphic elements. However, a customised gobo can be produced on request — for example with a company logo, pictogram, or any other graphic design. This allows lighting designers and architects to create a visual signature that fits perfectly into the space.

Typical gobo applications:

  • Company logos or brand names
  • Graphic patterns or textures
  • Symbols, pictograms, or numbers
  • Framing of objects, artworks, or displays
  • Directional signs in retail or hospitality

With Arte from Karizma Luce, gobo projection becomes part of the design strategy — combining light, architecture, and brand identity.
