Casa M

Deep impression.

Karizma Luce Casa M is a universal recessed downlight designed for hotels, restaurants, private homes, and high-end residential projects. Its IP44 rating makes it a reliable choice for almost any interior space, including humid zones such as bathrooms and covered corridors. With a 60mm cut-out and deep-positioned light source, it leaves a deep impression through visual calm and low-glare comfort. The classic design blends effortlessly into refined interior schemes.

The luminaire delivers up to 850Lm and offers beam angles of 15°, 24°, and 36°—suited for accent lighting, general tasks, or soft illumination. Its aluminium housing and integrated lens ensure clarity, precision, and lasting performance. Casa M is available in single CCT. Always select a suitable driver for your project: on/off, phase-cut, DALI, or Casambi. The result is high-quality, low-glare lighting with a clean, elegant appearance.

What Light Cone Charts Reveal in Downlight Design

In architectural lighting, not every project begins with the use of simulation software. That’s where a light cone chart becomes especially useful. It provides immediate insight into performance, helping you estimate spacing, height, and beam spread at a glance. This chart is available for all Karizma Luce luminaires with ldt files.

The diagram is based on three core values:

  • h (m): Distance from the light source to the reference plane
  • E₀° (lx): Maximum illuminance directly below the luminaire
  • ø (m): Diameter of the beam at the plane where intensity reaches half the peak value

For instance, you can get a result when a downlight like Casa M is mounted at 2.8m, it might deliver 800lx within a 1.2m beam diameter. This helps determine how far luminaires should be spaced to achieve even illumination across retail counters, corridors, or seating areas. Whether you’re planning accent lighting or uniform brightness, the cone chart supports faster, more informed decisions.

You can also view the light distribution curve and beam shape directly using free tools like the LDT Editor. This software lets you open any LDT file and see both numerical values and graphical diagrams—ideal for designers and technically minded end users alike.

All Karizma Luce luminaires offer downloadable LDT files directly on each product page. Even if you’re not a lighting designer, you can use the chart or visual beam diagram to understand how each luminaire behaves in space. It’s a powerful way to navigate light placement, whether using full simulation software or not.
