Karizma, Light4U and Greylite, the Danish project lighting contractor, have been working together for years. Greylite knows us back to front. As a project lighting contractor, Greylite has made the conscious decision to choose Karizma Luce and Light4U products, which Greylite installs in all segments of its lighting projects. Danish design company One Funky Furniture also asked for advice on lighting. The challenge? A store in an old bakery.
One Funky Furniture specialises in designing and customising furniture according to the requirements and wishes of its customers. The company also provides an interior design service. One Funky Furniture recently opened a new shop in the fashionable Frederiksberg shopping area in Copenhagen, in a derelict old bakery. The ovens and tiles in this quirky location have been refurbished as the backdrop to showcasing the company’s own products. This presents a perfect challenge for the discreet track spots Light4U Tube and Karizma Tesoro, with their extremely low profile and built-in drivers. These fit seamlessly into the design concept of the store.
The result is completely in balance – powerful lighting for the shop window, whereas reflected light inside the walls, thus creating a highly attractive ambience. For product presentation, 2000lm and 3000 Kelvin were chosen, thus further enhancing the cosy feel to the store. The details have been coordinated to harmonise with the unique characteristics of the building: thanks to sophisticated project lighting, this store concept has come to life.
